Our Story
Blue Tongue Boab is an Aussie startup founded by mates, Michael and Greg, in early 2024. Drawing on their love of sports, fishing, and the outdoors, the brand is all about having a laugh and not taking life too seriously.
The name says it all. Blue Tongue comes from the blue-tongued skinks — commonly called blue-tongue lizards, blue-tongues, or blueys — found right across Australia. Boab comes from the iconic boab tree, endemic to the northern regions of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Together, they capture something unmistakably Australian: rugged, distinctive, and full of character.
In 2025, Michael and Greg teamed up with Allan, of Legends and Heroes fame, and Blue Tongue Boab expanded its offerings to include one of the largest online collections of rare sports memorabilia in Australia. Big things happen when passionate people get together.
